Description
Pink Muhly Grass is a perennial, blooming grass that will add magical tuffs of pink blooms to your landscape. The showy pink plumes emerge in late summer and atop each plant and look like pink clouds floating over the grass. This hardy addition to your landscape is deer resistant and drought tolerant. Water twice a week and plant in full sun for continued growth. Pink Muhly provides a textural contrast to your landscape even when not in bloom. With a mature height of 48 in tall, it makes a suitable backdrop for shorter foliage, dense evergreen shrubs or ground covers. Plant Pink Muhly in groups of 3 or 5 to create visual mounds within the landscape. Space them roughly 2-3 feet apart to create a unified mound, or plant them further apart to allow each mound to stand on their own.
