Description
Meet your dream rose. Top Gun is extremely tough with a superior natural resistance to diseases like powdery and downy mildew, rust, black spot and the infamous rose rosette disease. Clusters of intense, richly colored, semi-double flowers will bloom on repeat over glossy green foliage. So not only will this shrub provide reliable structure in your landscape, it’ll remain a constant floral masterpiece starting in late spring and lasting late into fall. The perfect start for beginners, or for gardeners who’d love shrub roses if they didn’t need all the chemicals. This is an own-root rose, which is great for Northern gardens. Even if it dies back to the ground in a harsh winter, it’ll always come back as Top Gun. PPAF Top Gun Shrub Rose is now an award-winning shrub rose: Received the Chauncey Beadle Award for Best Shrub Rose in Biltmore Rose Trials, an American Garden Rose Selection (AGRS) Winner, an American Rose Trials for Sustainability (ARTS) Winner, and winner of the Best Shrub Rose at the Rose Hills Trials in Southern California (also part of the International Rose Trials).
