Description
Prairie Flame Grass has blades that start out green, but turn a dark burgundy color as the summer progresses. in late summer a pink colored plume forms and stays until frost. This Panicum grass variety forms a tight clump that will reach 4 ft. to 5 ft. tall with a width of approximately 3 ft. Hardy in USDA zones 4 to 9. Each offer includes one dormant bare root plant grown in a 4 inch pot.
