Description
Crocosmia Lucifer produces fiery red flowers that hummingbirds love. The brilliantly colored flowers bloom from July to August. Wiry stems, with deep green leaves, make this plant ideal for cut-flower arrangements. The plant’s name comes from the Greek language and means saffron smell, which reportedly can be detected when dried flowers are submerged in water. Plant in a sunny spot.
