Description
Pit Boss Platinum KC Combo Grill is combining the best grilling fuels into one powerful machine. Get the real wood flavor combined with the convenience of gas using the wood pellet grill and smoker, gas grill, and outdoor griddle combined. The Pit Boss KC Combo delivers impressive cooking versatility so you can griddle, grill, smoke, bake, braise, roast, sear, char-grill, barbecue, scramble, saute and stir-fry with liquid propane gas or all-natural hardwood pellets. Then, use our brand-new Smoke IT technology to manage your grill from the convenience of your phone. The Bluetooth capability from the Pit Boss Grills app works with the fully digital temperature control board so you receive direct access to the Key Component Alert System and PID (proportional-integral-derivative) temperature control. The PID controller eliminates temperature fluctuations. How does a PID controller work? A standard controller will time the fuel feed to the burn pot to reach desired temperatures, a PID controller adds in Proportional, Integral, and Derivative variables to control the timing of the feed more precisely. These variables via an algorithm (yes, lots of math), adjusts and adapts to not only variances in the set temperature and the desired temperature, but it also anticipates and adjusts to external influences such as environmental factors like heat and wind. The PID controller senses and adapts to these influences with more speed and precision than a standard temperature controller can which then helps mitigate the internal temperature of the grill. With the KC Combo level up your outdoor cooking and craft perfect meals every time you grill. Additional features of the KC Combo Platinum Grill include – A slide-plate flame broiler with a front adjustable control knob for open and shut direct flame searing. A powerful temperature range of 180 to 500 F. Built-in grill lighting for night-time grilling. Ash management system with a built-in cleaning tray.
