Description
10 Pieces of high quality, true Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens) Our Palo Santo sticks come from trees that die in a natural way, during this process of decomposition the tree is compressed, secreting its oil and acquiring its medicinal and aromatic properties. The tree remains uncollected for three to four years. Cutting a Palo Santo tree without the decomposition process wont result in the same benefits. Packaged in the US Palo Santo was mainly used by Peruvian shamans in their religious and spiritual rituals as a tool to bring good luck, ward off any signs of negativity and as a means of getting a better spiritual connection. Use a match or a lighter to ignite your Palo Santo. Hold your Palo Santo at a 45 degree angle with the point of the stick touching the flame. Let the wood stay lit for 30 seconds, and then blow the flame out. Allow the smoke to fill the space that you need to cleanse. When you are finished, lay the wood with the ignited tip downward in a bowl. It will put itself out.
