Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique Whiskey is matured in casks that have held both red and white wines, before being re-toasted. The whisky is fully matured in these casks to help their Taiwanese single malt develop a bold, expressive flavor profile brimming with berry, plum, and caramelized sugar notes.
Nose: Complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: Kiwi and a delicate blend of citrus fruits burst. Pepper is also present in the background waiting to be noticed.
Finish: Clean, crisp, and smooth.
