Remodeling braces are adjustable for joist spacing from 16″ to 24″. Simple “tool free” expansion of brace. Remodeling brace has preset support brackets. New construction slides apart to accommodate any spacing of joists. Positioning claws allow for quick position. Outlet box can be positioned in any location along its length. Simple fastener for tightening outlet box and brace. Easy to follow installation instructions included – 1-1/2″.
