How long does it take to assemble and breakdown the sauna?First time Setup typically can take 15-20 minutes but for many it’s as low as 10; our proprietary structure uses minimal parts and collapsible poles to make set-up really simple, so no mistakes are made! Breakdown and storage are just as quick, folding neatly into the included storage bag.
How hot does it get? The sauna heats up to 135°F with near 100% humidity, delivering a true wet sauna experience. The combination of heat and steam surrounds your body for deep warmth, similar to what you’d expect from an intense real sauna experience
Will it fit my space and my body?The sauna is very portable and lightweight. It’s designed for seated use and fits all heights while seated. The Sauna is 35.4″ x 35.4″ x 70″ H and should fit most spaces. The included chair has a 275lb weight limit.
How long can I steam per session?Sessions can last up 60 minutes after pre-heating. We recommend starting with 15 minutes and working your way up over time. For a quick 15-minute session: fill the steamer just past the MIN line with 1L of distilled water, (preheating should only take 10 minutes)To preheat: keep the door fully zipped and vent closed and preheating should only take about 6 minutes to reach ~130–135°F at near 100% humidity.
What’s the best way to setup the Sauna for a session?Steam naturally creates condensation, and some moisture may collect on the floor during use. For the most comfortable experience, place a towel on the floor of the sauna. The towel will soak up excess water and make cleanup simple.
What kind of water should I use?Use distilled water to maintain steam performance and reduce mineral buildup. Starting with hot/warm water will make it heat faster but isn’t required.
What outlet do I need? Will it trip my breaker?The sauna runs at 1600W, which is considered high power. If it shares a circuit with other high-draw appliances (like hair dryers, kettles, or space heaters), it may trip your breaker. To avoid this, use a dedicated 15A household outlet and do not plug other large appliances into the same circuit.
What parts get hot during use?The hose, diffuser, and the area near the steam inlet will become hot. Avoid touching these areas during use. The steam diffuser inside the tent also gets very hot, position it under the chair away from your feet.
How long does it take the Sauna to dry? How dry should I make it during my first pass clean?It is recommended that you wipe up all the excess water after your sauna. You can use the hook on the inside of the door, that clips onto the metal rod, to hold the door open while it dries. It is recommended to let it dry overnight and to check to make sure it is dry before stowing away.
Do I need to wait to dry the Sauna before I fold it?Yes. Wipe the Sauna down and air it out completely making sure it’s dry before stowing away
How do I clean and prevent mold? After each use, unzip and air dry the tent, and wipe down inner surfaces. A mild vinegar and water solution works well to disinfect if you want to every couple of uses but is also not needed it is completely at your discretion.
Is it mold-resistant?Proper care will prevent mold. Make sure the sauna is dried and aired out properly before stowing.
There’s a white line near the zipper — what is it and how do I clean it?Condensation around the zipper can sometimes leave a faint white line. This is just mineral residue and not harmful. Wipe it away with a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution to restore a clean look.
Does the steamer need to be cleaned? Do I have to empty the water if I did not finish it all or can I leave it in there?It is recommended to dump out the excess water after use and to leave the top off the steamer to let it dry before you stow it away or use it again.
How do I use essential oils with my Sauna? Are there any that I should not use? Add a few drops of essential oil to the steam diffuser. Do not add any directly into the steamer.
Is the sauna safe for everyone? Not recommended for individuals with cardiovascular issues, blood pressure concerns, or pregnant women. Always check with your doctor before using.

What if I break or damage the sauna?Contact Homedics customer service. We stand behind our products with a 1-year limited warranty and can assist with part replacements or repairs.
My aluminum poles have a scuff mark. Can that be removed? Aluminum is a great material for the structure of the sauna because it is strong, lightweight, and stays cool in high temperatures. However, it is softer than other metals and therefore can be scuffed. If you see scuff marks, you can try rubbing them out with a damp cloth to minimize the appearance, but you may not be able to remove it completely. This should not be looked at as a defect. There is no issue with your poles.
How do I remove the Child Safety stop on the zipper if I have no child risk in my home?Use a sharp pair of small scissors to work under the red thread to cut through the threads. You don’t need to cut through all threads, use tweezers to pull the threads out after cutting. Work carefully to not damage the fabric.
How should I clean my Sauna and how often?
AFTER EACH USE• Unzip the sauna door and allow steam to escape fully.• Wipe the entire interior (walls, floor, and seat) with a soft, damp cloth or towel to removemoisture and sweat.• Dry the Velcro areas thoroughly with a towel to prevent buildup.• Keep the sauna door open for ventilation until the inside is fully dry.
VELCRO CARE• Every few uses, clean Velcro strips with a vinegar-water spray or 70% isopropyl alcohol to disinfect.• Gently brush Velcro bristles with a soft brush to remove lint or debris.• All the velcro to dry completely before storing. STEAMER MAINTENANCE• Ensure the steamer is emptied of any leftover water after use.• Rinse the water tank with clean water, then dry it before storing.• Descale the steamer periodically (e.g., once a month or as needed) with a vinegar-watersolution if you have hard water buildup.• Diffuser and hoses can be soaked in warm water with mild, non-toxic cleaner to remove residue.
DEEP CLEANING (EVERY COUPLE OF WEEKS)• Wipe the sauna tent interior with a non-toxic cleaner (or mild soap solution).• Avoid harsh or abrasive chemicals that can damage the fabric or coatings.• Rinse and dry thoroughly before use.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS• Always ensure the steamer, tent, chair, and accessories are completely dry before storingto prevent mold and mildew.• Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity.• It is recommended to use the carrying case when storing.
