Description
Rubber mulch nuggets are the perfect loose-fill nugget ground cover for playgrounds and commercial landscaping. The mulch controls moisture and prevents weeds, keeping your landscape looking its best. And with a 12-year color guarantee, these nuggets will not fade, rot, compress, or lose their original color, even when exposed to harsh elements. This eliminates the need to reapply mulch annually, and your yard will look great for years to come. Additionally, GroundSmart’s rubber mulch nuggets provide superior drainage and minimize dust, are non-toxic, and inhibit the growth of molds and fungi, reducing allergy risk. They will not attract termites, carpenter ants or other damaging insects, keeping your landscape healthy and protected. Regarding use as a playground surface, the mulch is IPEMA certified for safe use on playgrounds. At more than 2X the fall height rating of wood mulch, it’s one of the safest playground surfaces available. The soft compression creates a pliable, resilient surface to help reduce stress on joints and bones, and is fall height rated up to 16-feet.
