Description
Ideal for travel, hiking, overnight backpacking trips, or emergency situations, the Grayl UltraPress Purifier Bottle enables you to enjoy safe, taste-free water anywhere and with a single 10-second ‘push’. It’s effective against viruses, bacteria, and protozoa and also filters out particulates, odors, and unwanted flavor. The purifier consists of four parts: an exterior shell, the internal container, the purifier cartridge, and a screw-top lid. It allows you to safely treat water with an action that mirrors that used to prepare coffee in a French press. Simply add water to the fill line of the bottle’s exterior, insert the internal container, which is threaded directly to the purifier cartridge, and apply even, steady pressure until the internal container meets the lip of the shell. It takes no more than 10 seconds and you’re able to enjoy 16.9 ounces of filtered and purified water. The filter’s active technology also removes chemicals and heavy metals in addition to protecting against bacteria like E. coli and Salmonella, protozoan cysts like Giardia and Cryptosporidium, and viruses. The cartridge is effective for up to 300 uses (40 gallons of water) and the replacement UltaPress Purifier Cartridge (sold separately) is available to fully restore effectiveness. Available in your choice of color options, the BPA-free Grayl UltraPress Purifier Bottle has a 16.9 fluid ounce capacity, weighs 12.5 ounces, and measures 9.75′ x 2.95′.
