Description
Goji Berry Plant is an ideal shrub for the edible landscape. Growing 8 ft. to 10 ft. tall, it has emerald leaves on graceful, vinelike branches. Its 1/2 in. to 1 in. bright orange-red fruits ripen in midsummer, are high in antioxidants and have a slightly sweet, mildly tangy flavor. Used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years, Goji berries are sometimes called a superfood. The plants are easy to grow with no known pest or disease problems, and a high tolerance to drought. For optimal performance, plant Goji Berry Plant in full sun to partial shade.
- Space plants approximately 5 to 8 ft. apart for best results.
- For best results, grow in well-drained soil with moderate soil moisture, but will grow in any type of soil.
- Blooms in early summer and sporadically for the rest of growing season.
