Details:” Product description: 279838 Dryer Heating Element -279838 dryer heating element contains 85% nickel and chromium.Once the dryer reaches 221 degrees, it turns off the power to the heating element until the temperature drops to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the temperature drops, the thermostat will restore heat to the dryer. This thermostat reaches a temperature of 155 degrees, turns off, and then turns on again once it has dropped by 25 degrees. This fuse is located on the blower housing next to the blower fan. If the dryer overheats, the thermal fuse blows to cut off power to the dryer and/or stop the dryer from running. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.
