Description
The ceramic ConvEGGtor (deflector plate) acts as a heat shield and protects the dishes from direct contact with the heat source. As a result, the EGG works with indirect heat like a furnace. The ideal method for preparing all oven dishes, for cooking delicate food, for low temperature cooking and for use in combination with the Cast Iron Dutch Oven (cooking pot made of cast iron). The ConvEGGtor can be combined with the pastry and pizzas, so you can bake the most wonderful breads and pizzas with really crispy ground. The ceramic ConvEGGtor (deflector plate) acts as a heat shield and protects the dishes from direct contact with the heat source. - The stone distributes heat for even baking and browning and the ceramics pull moisture from the outer surface of the dough for brick oven crustiness
- The pizza/baking stone retains heat, so your foods stay hot longer
- Made from the same ceramics as the EGG so it will not crack or break under extreme heat
- Fits all EGGs except mini
