Description
The Bartzella Itoh Peony is known for its huge, sunny yellow double blooms which makes it a standout in perennial gardens and foundation plantings. Growing 32″ tall, the Bartzella Peony can produce up to 50 blooms in mid to late spring. Peony flowers are treasured as cut flowers for bouquets and floral arrangements. Bartzella Peony attracts pollinators, too. Itoh Peonies are a cross between exotic tree peonies and perennial herbaceous peonies. With its attractive, deep green foliage, Bartzella is also suitable for planting in groups as small hedges. It performs best in full sun to partial shade. Deer tend to avoid it.
