Arcadia D3 T5 24w Desert Lamp 12% UVB The Arcadia D3 12% Desert UVB lamps are a much more effective way to supply UVB to you vivarium for desert dwelling reptiles who in the wild would bask in open pains exposed to high levels of UVB. Compared to a T8 UVB lamp the T5 provides 95% more UVB over a larger and deeper area, meaning your reptile will not have to within inches of the UVB lamp in order to receive the correct amount of UVB for synthesis of vitamin D to take place. The D3 Desert UVB Lamp produces 12% UVB and 30% UVA whilst offering 100% more visual light compared to a T8 for more natural vivid colours. When used with a reflector or a Arcadia Slimline Luminaire, it ensures 100% more light is reflected into the vivarium so you can be safe assured you beloved reptile receives UVB it needs. Please note this lamp is designed for desert dwelling reptiles who require a high percentage of UVB and is not suitable for reptiles who in the wild would naturally be under a high amount of tree cover such as chameleons, they require the D3 6% Forest UVB Lamp.
