With its expansive 122cm working-width, this towed-type unit from garden-tractor attachment specialists, Agri-Fab, will deal quickly and efficiently with large-scale dethatching applications. Its 24 heat-treated spring tines are highly durable and will gently but comprehensively remove any matted grass clippings and lateral rhizomes (or ��thatch��), which might be inhibiting your lawn��s growth. Once the surface build-up has been lifted, sunlight, water and air will be able to better penetrate the root network, in turn enabling the grass to flourish. The Agri-Fab 45-0295 Spring-Tine Dethatcher is fitted with a weight tray that you can ballast, should a deeper working-depth be required. A handy cantilevered transport handle makes it possible to lift the tines when crossing areas that don��t need dethatching. This model sits on a pair of large-diameter wheels with semi-pneumatic tyres for smooth operation on bumpy terrain; and it can be used with a tractor mower from any manufacturer.
