Description
With its expansive 122cm working-width, this towed-type unit from garden-tractor attachment specialists, Agri-Fab, will deal quickly and efficiently with large-scale dethatching applications. Its 24 heat-treated spring tines are highly durable and will gently but comprehensively remove any matted grass clippings and lateral rhizomes (or thatch), which might be inhibiting your lawns growth. Once the surface build-up has been lifted, sunlight, water and air will be able to better penetrate the root network, in turn enabling the grass to flourish. The Agri-Fab 45-0295 Spring-Tine Dethatcher is fitted with a weight tray that you can ballast, should a deeper working-depth be required. A handy cantilevered transport handle makes it possible to lift the tines when crossing areas that dont need dethatching. This model sits on a pair of large-diameter wheels with semi-pneumatic tyres for smooth operation on bumpy terrain; and it can be used with a tractor mower from any manufacturer.
