Description
Getting the right amount of fertilizer spread in the right way across your lawn is critical to keeping the grass growing healthy. With the Agri-Fab Tow-Behind Drop Spreader, you can turn that job into a quick and simple process. As the name suggests, this spreader is made to be towed behind a tractor or riding lawn mower. It can handle all kinds of granular or pelleted material, which makes it great for spreading not only fertilizer, but weed control, and ice melt as well. It uses air-filled tires, so it can roll over grass, dirt, and concrete without issue. Because of this versatility, it’s able to stay useful all year round. The bin of this spreader can hold up to 175 pounds of material. That’s enough material to be spread over a 1-acre area, or 40,000 square feet. Being able to have all of that on hand keeps you from having to go back and refill, so you can get the job done sooner. Additionally, the spreader is made with a spreading width of about 3.5 feet. With that width, you can cover large areas of land with a good amount of speed. Different lawns and fields have different needs. Even if they’re the same size, you might not want the same amount of fertilizer per square foot. That’s why this drop spreader has a flow control gauge. By adjusting this gauge, you can control the rate at which material is dropped onto the ground below. You can adjust it by using the flow control arm, which is a long metal arm that sticks out of the front of the spreader. What’s nice about this arm is that it’s long enough to be reached while riding in the small tractor or standard lawn mower. That way you don’t have to get out of your seat to adjust the flow rate, you can just turn around. Spread fertilizer, weed control, and ice-melt quickly and consistently wherever you might need it with the Agri-Fab Tow-Behind Drop Spreader.
