Description
The Bigfoot Cleyera from the Southern Living Plant Collection is a great selection for creating a low maintenance tall hedge, accent, or privacy screen in the landscape. This shrub has a uniform upright fast growing growth habit, and attractive glossy evergreen leaves. New leaves when they first emerge will have an eye-catching bronzy-maroon color. The Southern Living Bigfoot Cleyera thrives in USDA zones 7-10 and has great resistance to pests, disease, and can tolerate heat and drought. This shrub will grow best in a location that receives full to part sun, and that has well-drained slightly acidic soil.
