Description
Kings Gold Thread banch Cypress is best described as a mounding evergreen shrub, continuously showing off its rich golden color and adding a rare texture to landscapes with its uniquely shaped branches and stems. Kings Gold is both colorful and compact, reaching an equal height and spread of 3 ft. to 5 ft. This unique golden shrub is also widely adaptable and was perfectly developed for hot, humid Southern gardens where other evergreens have trouble thriving and retaining their color. Although it thrives in these warmer climates, Kings Gold is also cold hardy down to at least minus 20F. This adaptability, as well as its more rounded form is what really sets the Kings Gold apart from other Thread branch varieties. Since it stays small, colorful and requires extremely little maintenance, Kings Gold has become quite popular for small urban landscapes, sidewalk planting and even border lining next to green companion plants.
