With a longer blooming season than most varieties, the Miss Kim offers a lovely color progression: Pink to purple color in bud Icy-blue color when mature Burgundy-red fall color Given its compact and naturally rounded shape, it can be used as a solid foundation in border planting. The shrub will grow between 6 to 8 feet in height, but can easily be kept trimmed at 4 feet. This plant does very well in the southern United States, where other lilacs have difficulty.
