The Chinese Pistache is a deciduous, ornamental tree whose rounded to oval shape provides good shade and whose foliage provides vibrant fall color. The tree is also drought tolerant and very disease resistant. It it is a medium-sized tree with a medium growth-rate, growing anywhere from 25 ft. to 40 ft. tall with a spread of 25 ft. to 35 ft. It is hardy to 5�� or USDA Zones 6-9. Plant in the full sun and in well-drained soil. The Chinese Pistacia will tolerate poor soil as long as it is well-drained.
