OVERVIEW
The Futura GLS Super Sport is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire offers exceptional all season traction. Stronger, all season compound elements and the details of the ribbed tread design improve dry, wet, and winter grip. The tread design’s notch and sipe placement firmly grip the road with the use of extra biting edges. Additionally, the circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint in wet conditions. The ideal compound maintains rubber flexibility throughout the year, keeping the tire pliable in different weather conditions. This combination results in a great year-round grip.
The ribbed tread design maintains surface contact at all times. It helps to ensure a safer forward motion, upgrading steering responsiveness and driving stability. This increases the tire’s steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while its structure is stabilized as well. The shoulder blocks, with the sipe placement, firmly grip the road, enhancing cornering and maneuvering abilities. The notch pattern generates friction at the moment of braking, significantly shortening the tire’s stopping distance.
The GLS Super Sport also ensures exceptional comfort levels. The ribbed tread design and the close road contact work together to optimize the passengers’ driving enjoyment. Road noise levels are decreased as airwaves are channeled through the footprint. The close road contact absorbs the shock of driving, minimizing vibrations. As a result, the tire guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
