OVERVIEW
The Mastertrack Badlands ATX is an all terrain, all season tire made for SUVs. Mastertrack offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
This tire manages to increase its all terrain performance. The optimized tread elements generate additional biting edges that enable the tire’s consistent forward motion on different terrain surfaces. This allows the tire to conquer soft, loose, and uneven terrains with ease. Additionally, the self-cleaning tread elements eliminate mud, snow, and rocks stuck in the footprint. As a result, the stone retention is avoided, while mud and snow cannot block the tire’s surface contact. This combination promotes a safe on- and off-road drive.
The tread design’s symmetric tread pattern improves the model’s controllability. The symmetric tread pattern keeps the road and terrain contact at all times. This increases the steering response time and accuracy to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Large shoulder blocks upgrade cornering and maneuvering, which helps the driver have confident control over the vehicle. This combination ensures a safe driving experience.
The tire is able to handle versatile weather conditions. The all season tire compound and the ideal tread pattern increase dry, wet, and winter-weather road grip. The wide grooves avoid hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from beneath the footprint. The enhanced water dispersing ability and the exceptional all season traction work together to guarantee a safe year-round performance.
The Mastertrack Badlands ATX promotes great damage resistance. The strong sidewall structure and the durable compound work together to combat tread and casing damage. They effectively avoid the tread’s chipping, cracking, and tearing, while also resisting punctures, cuts, and impact damage. Their combination offers a safer driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
