Ribs Anyone? Want to add a delicious smoky flavour to your next BBQ? If you’re using a coal powered BBQ then you can add the Weber Hickory Chunks to the coals to turn your BBQ into a smoker. These large chunks smoulder slowly, adding a rich smoky flavour to your meat. Ideal for fish, poultry, beef, pork or lamb the flavour of hickory is perfect for any meal. A favourite amongst backyard BBQers is to cook BBQ spare ribs with hickory to give them that authentic American rib flavour. A great way to ensure your smoking is a success is to soak the hickory in water for an hour beforehand. This lengthens the time it takes for the wood to be consumed, meaning you’ll have more smoking time to lock in the flavours, while also adding moisture to the air around the meat to help keep everything nice and juicy. Enjoy the smoky flavours of hickory next time you crack open the BBQ with the Weber Hickory Chunks. You’ll love the classic smoked flavour this hardwood brings to your meat.
