The combination seed, fertilizer, and soil improver can be used for growing a new lawn or overseeding an existing lawn in 3 steps: 1) prep the area 2) apply the seed, and 3) rake the seed into the soil. For best results, plant seed in the late spring or early summer when daily average soil temperatures are consistently between 65F and 80F, or air temperatures between 70F and 90F. Water daily or as needed to keep the soil moist for at least 3 weeks or until seedlings reach 2 inches in height.
