Description
Liatris Spicata is a tall upright, clump forming perennial which is native to moist low grounds, meadows and marsh margins. Its spikes produce deep purple flower heads atop rigid leafy flower stalks It typically grows 2-4′ tall; however has been known to grow as tall as 6′ in its native habitat. It is fragrant, attracting many butterflies.
