This fertilizer utilizes Scotts Secure Nutrients, a coated, patented particle that secures nutrients until your turf needs them, resulting in a fed lawn for up to 6 months. Apply to a wet or dry lawn in the spring to early summer for warm-season grass types, or spring or fall for cool-season grass types. For Scotts broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 5? for the Ultrafeed rate or 3? for the regular rate. For Scotts drop spreaders, use a setting of 12 for the Ultrafeed rate or 9? for the regular rate. For Scotts Wizz, use a setting of 5? for the Ultrafeed rate or 4 for the regular rate.
