Description
Because this tree withstands temperatures as low as -10 degrees, it thrives through the chilliest winter months. Plus, it’s drought tolerant and pest resistance, making it particularly carefree. It doesn’t take a lot for this tree to produce a large crop every year. You’ll have your own home-grown figs in no time, especially since our Chicago Hardy is self-fertile (though more trees mean more fruit for you). And because it grows to a manageable mature height, it fits in nearly any space. You get rich, juicy, and sweet figs, no matter where you’re located. In fact, our Chicago Hardy is one of the best no-fuss fig trees you can grow. Adapting to an array of soil types, limited watering and more, it’s a proven performer that outlasts a number of conditions. As one of the first online nurseries in the world, Brighter Blooms offers a large, proven collection of high-quality plants.
