The Duraflame 2.5-lb 1.5-Hour Firelog lights up fully in less than 5 minutes. The Duraflame firelogs light faster and burn cleaner than firewood, and because far less material is consumed when burning a firelog, significantly fewer pollutants are emitted than a comparable wood fire. A duraflame fire-log consumes 80% less material than a comparable duration wood fire, and burning fire-logs instead of wood results in significantly fewer trees cut down for use as firewood.
