Description
A perfect solution for hiking, travel, or emergency preparedness, the Grayl GeoPress Purifier Bottle provides 24 ounces of safe, clean drinking water in just 8 seconds! No matter where in the world you might be, simply fill the outer chamber with water from whatever source is available, apply steady, even pressure to the inner press, and the integrated filter delivers on-the-spot drinkable water. The purifier consists of four parts: an exterior shell, the internal container, the purifier cartridge, and a screw-top lid with a drink-through cap. It allows you to safely treat water with an action that mirrors that used to prepare coffee in a French press. NOTE: Applying steady pressure works best if you keep the lid loosely attached and hold the bottle at knee level so you can use your body weight. The lid keeps contents secure and has an integrated loop for carrying the bottle or attaching it to a backpack. Independently tested to exceed NSF protocols and EPA standards, the filter’s active carbon technology removes chemicals and heavy metals in addition to protecting against bacteria like E. coli and Salmonella, protozoan cysts like Giardia and Cryptosporidium, and viruses. It also makes drinking more enjoyable by improving taste and reducing odors. The cartridge is effective for up to 350 uses (65 gallons of water) and the replacement GeoPress Purifier Cartridge (sold separately) is available to fully restore effectiveness. Stored in proper conditions and unused, the cartridge has a shelf life of 10 years. Available in your choice of color options, the BPA-free Grayl GeoPress Purifier Bottle has a 24 fluid ounce capacity, weighs 15.9 ounces, and measures 10.4′ x 3.4.
