This six quart cast iron Dutch oven from Lodge is fantastic for slow cooking ham, green beans and potatoes. The excellent heat retention of the cookware decreases the amount of energy needed for cooking. This cast iron Dutch oven is handcrafted using separate sand molds before applying multiple layers of long-lasting enamel. The ironware has an attractive Caribbean blue finish set off by a cream interior. The pan��s glossy porcelain skin creates a natural non-stick surface for ease of cleaning and eliminates the need to pre-season the pot. A tight fitting cover is included to seal in heat, moisture and nutrients.
