Crocosmia Masoniorum is blessed with a unique style all its own and a warm coloration that ranges from pale orange to brilliant red-orange. It’s the ideal choice for adding a bit of unusual beauty and lots of fiery color to the landscape. This award winner lights up mixed perennial borders, rock gardens and cutting beds with its Summery color and unusual flower spikes. From midsummer to early fall, small florets cover the stems for a dramatic sight when planted in groupings throughout the property. Mixes well with low-growing or more compact flower forms and lightly colored plants. Crocosmia is easy to grow and maintain, though it should be lifted in the fall in zones 3 to 6. Mulch heavily for Winter protection.
